Blessed Buys Thrift Shoppe at 20 Broad St, is now well into its second year of operation. Last year, the shop raised over $29,000 with the proceeds going to First Congregational Church in Westfield and their Christian Fellowship as well as community non-profits such as The Westfield Food Bank, Our House, Whip City Animal Sanctuary, and St. Vincent De Paul. In addition, Blessed Buys helped many community members in need with donations of clothing and household items.
We started with little more than a hope and an idea and we are now truly fulfilling our mission to help those in need. We provide a resource for high quality, but low-priced items, expose the community to our wonderful church, and spread the word of God’s love.
